Marc Giosi began his career in the arts as a classically trained pianist based in New York City. His administrative career has spanned several different artistic disciplines with a focus on fundraising and development. Most recently, he served as the Vice President of Development at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC), the long-time summer home of the Philadelphia Orchestra and New York City Ballet, located in the Capital Region of New York State. 

Prior to his tenure at SPAC, Marc served as the Director of Individual Giving at the New World Symphony in Miami Beach, the only orchestral academy of its kind in the United States. He was instrumental in fundraising for its 2019 tour to Carnegie Hall, where the orchestra gave two highly acclaimed performances with conductor Michael Tilson Thomas and pianist Yuja Wang.

Marc spent five years in Pittsburgh as the Executive Director for Chatham Baroque, the acclaimed early music ensemble. He oversaw all operations for this internationally renowned organization including touring, fundraising, marketing, and album production. Also, while in Pittsburgh he was a company pianist for Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre. 

Marc began his career in arts administration at Chamber Music America (CMA), the national service organization for jazz and chamber music musicians. During his time with CMA, he served in several capacities, finishing his tenure as Conference and Events Manager. Marc produced the 33rd annual CMA National Conference in New York, which featured Bobby McFerrin as its keynote speaker. 

Marc’s speaking engagements have included Arts Midwest, Carnegie Mellon University, Chamber Music America, Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council, Western Arts Alliance, among others. He has served as a grant panelist for the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, Florida Division of Cultural Affairs, and NYSCA’s Community Arts Grant program. 

Marc earned his Bachelor of Music from the Crane School of Music (SUNY Potsdam) and his Masters in piano performance from New York University, where he studied with noted pedagogue Seymour Bernstein. He is originally from Long Island.
